India Makes History with ‘Singha’, First Full-Length Feature Starring a Real Lion

India is set to witness a historic moment in cinema with “Singha”, the country’s first full-length feature film starring a real lion. V. Mathiyalagan, under Etcetera Entertainment, produces the movie in collaboration with Thithir Film House Pvt Ltd, aiming to deliver a cinematic milestone.


Star Cast and Crew

K C Ravithevan, an alumnus of a reputed film institute and former assistant to Kamal Haasan, directs the film. The lead role is played by Shrrita Rao, who has previously appeared in Lenin Pandian and Kumki 2. She impressively performs alongside the real lion.

Meanwhile, Leesha Eclairs, known for 1945, Pothunalan Kaurthi, and Jawan, plays a negative female character. Her role involves acting with 300 wolves, and she delivers her part effectively.


Pan-India Film with Global Locations

The team is producing “Singha” as a pan-Indian film in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Additionally, the movie is being shot in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Zambia, Goa, Tenkasi, and Visakhapatnam. These locations emphasize the global scope of the story.


Technical Excellence

Amrish composes the music, while Kannan Selvaraj writes the dialogues. Cinematography is handled by P.G. Muthiah, production design by Hasini Pavithra, editing by Tamil Arasan, and stunts by Stunner Sam.
